FINAL REVEAL: NW Hillside House

If you're just joining, we've been talking about our NW Hillside House project (I miss seeing those views!) You can read about the before, the design directions we *didn't* take and the fireplace makeover. Today is the final reveal and we've been so excited to share it with you!

Ready?!

Here it is:

Brilliant golds, shades of blue and soft neutrals are all derived from their family rug, anchoring the room. Little pops of black plus iconic modernist pieces like the Ib Kofod Larsen Penguin chair add those elements of streamlined design, showing that contemporary furnishings and antique pieces can live together harmoniously.

Perch Furniture made the gorgeous custom sofa for the space (it's sooo cozy!) and ADBusch fabricated the bespoke mantel mirror.

Close up of the family's antique hutch, beautifully juxtaposed with a side table by HAY and grasshopper floor lamp.

New window treatments by The Shade Store. All walls are painted Benjamin Moore Boothbay Gray.

Family painting was re-matted by Portland Picture Frame and the floor lamp is from Schoolhouse Electric.

A vintage chaise lounge and Eileen Gray-inspired side table sit in front of a variegated rubber tree from Solabee Flowers & Botanicals.

There's that view of the Fremont Bridge! Kick your feet up and have some coffee!

Looking back at the living room. Love the layers of subtle (and bright!) color.

Samsung, do you know how much we gush about your Frame TV?! Every client looking for a new television gets this recommendation from us. If you haven't heard of it before, it's a TV that looks like a piece of framed art. It's incredible and has completely revolutionized the whole, 'what do you do with the big black box on the wall?' conundrum. We all love the craftsmanship of the Dang console by BluDot.

View into the dining room and kitchen beyond from the living.

Dining room light fixtures are by Worley's Lighting, one of our go-to resources for lighting. White oak table is from DWR.

One last look at those windows! The table can expand and seat additional friends and family.

We are so happy with this project. Thanks so much to our client and to Meagan Larsen for the incredible photos of the home. And thanks to you for following along with Wise Design and our projects!
