Project Reveal: Irvington Foursquare Foyer & Living Room

ree

We're excited to share another project with all of you! This project was with another repeat client (we love our repeat clients)!

We had designed the clients' previous home & also had done some work on their office space in the past. When they approached us to help with their newly purchased home, located in the historic neighborhood of Irvington, we happily took on the project! The scope included a basement renovation, full house furnishing selections and, after an unfortunate small fire, a full kitchen renovation as well.

The home has a lovely connection between the interior and exterior thanks to custom landscaping, designed by our client's father. A graceful, elegant Foursquare style home with considered elements that our clients wanted to feel 'grown up' but not too precious as they have a young child.

The foyer in this historic Portland Foursquare home is a generous & elegant space that didn't need much to shine. A vintage rug, walnut bench & simple wall hooks in a black finish create a wall organized, yet beautiful space thanks to the original leaded glass windows & moldings.

The clients had a beautiful baby grand piano that fit perfectly in the space! It's really a show stopper as you walk in the front door!

For the living room, we designed a custom curved sofa from Perch Furniture which works beautifully with the square shape of the room and maximizes seating for entertaining or cozy nights by the fire with the family.

We also designed this custom wingback chair & matching ottoman upholstered in a soft neutral leather, also made by Perch Furniture. It's the perfect spot to curl up with a book by the fire!

We had a custom finish applied to the mantel mirror by Lara Sydney Framing gallery. The finish came out perfectly and looks so great with the dark metal of the sconces & the timeless subtlety of the Benjamin Moore Classic Grey paint color..

We love this moment in the corner with a textured grasscloth console table from Made Goods & artwork from Kravet Curated. So lovely!

This stunning Gaia pendant from Ochre really makes a statement in the space. So beautiful!

Such an effortlessly elegant & classic space, don't you think?!!

Stay tuned as we reveal the dining room & kitchen from the Irvington Foursquare project....
