BASEMENT RENOVATION

Wise Design was contacted by our clients to help with their NW Portland basement. They wanted to reimagine their space, transforming it into useful family space for every day activities as well as comfortably hosting over-night friends and family. Partnering with Clarkbuilt and Portland Closet Company, we designed new custom built-ins in both the family room area, laundry room and basement flex room.

 The scope included a range of custom storage and shelving updates, featuring a murphy bed, new laundry storage, a grind-and-seal finish for the existing concrete floor, and new carpeting.

The cabinetry scope featured a built-in entertainment wall, a uniquely arched desk nook, a murphy bed with integrated storage, white oak wall paneling with custom-fabricated brackets, and additional custom shelving. Collaboration was central to the project’s success, with close coordination between ClarkBuilt, the clients, and Wise Design ensuring each element supported the broader vision.
